Royal! Very affordable hotel in terms of price, the staff is very pleasant and always sincerely friendly, the rooms are cleaned very strictly every day!The pool is cute, the restaurant is very good for very low prices which is a big plus in this hotel ✅Little favorite for this hotel, which is also very well located in FunchalI sincerely recommend 😇The only video I have is the view from the reception/restaurant entrance
Very good location. Great place for a base for exploring the whole island. The only downside is the monotony at breakfasts. The same thing every day.
love the breakfast and how everything looks, nice rooftop😻 also possible to get massages / wash clothes👍🏻 and a free pool! … but the beds are not very comfortable 😢 and u can kinda hear noises from the neighbouring rooms. but its a 2 star hotel tho!!!
Fantastic stay! Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, great local tips. Smooth check-in/out even with late arrival. Delicious, varied breakfast. Room clean with amazing view, plus a lovely small pool. Definitely recommend!
We had such a wonderful stay (25th of November - 4th of December) at Vila Camacho! The location of the Guest House is perfect - you'll have a stunning sea view as well as above Funchal. Because it's not in the city centre, the place is quite calm which is perfect during night. Moreover, you can reach the Guest House easily via Bus. When having a rental car, you'll have no problems finding a parking lot - we could always park in front of the Guest House.ROOMOur room was basic, but had everything you need. If possible, we would recommend a room with sea view. However, the room was very neat and was cleaned regularly. The bed was comfortable and big enough for two.You also have the opportunity to go on the roof top - amazing view over Funchal - or the swimming pool behind the Guest House. Unfortunately, it was a little too cold to go in there during our stay, but we can imagine it to be perfect during the summerFOODThe Guest House has a small restaurant which offers a good option of common food aswell as traditional ones (we can totally recommend Bolo do Caco!). The value for money of the dishes is unbeatable - as well as for the cocktails! Like the restaurant, the bar is of very high quality. I loved the Margarithas!The breakfast offers quite the same every morning, but it's totally sufficient. You'll get erverything you need for a proper meal. We can totally recommend the oranges - they were so delicious and we had them every morning.SERVICEThis was one of the best experiences we ever had! Not only the service in the restaurant was totally friendly and attentive - also the reception was always there to help when we had different questions or needed something. They also offered us to organize a Taxi to pick us up from the airport before we started our trip. We felt we were in good hands and didn't have to worry about anything.In conclusion, we can definitely recommend to stay at Vila Camacho!
Very nice, helpful and friendly staff. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. We were also surprised how good was the breakfast which included fresh squizeed orange juice, espresso machine and plant based milk for coffee!! ( big plus ). There is a restaurant with nice waiter where you can order beer/food and hang out. He are having a great memories from this place.
